Let’s talk about the month of June. What’s been going on? Well, I hope with this amazing weather everyone’s been making the most of being outside!
With the move back to London and looking for a new job, the last few months have been a bit stressful but thankfully everything is calming down. In June I tried as much as possible to motivate myself to accomplish and do as much as I can.
I’m a month into my new job as a receptionist at a well-being clinic and I’m actually really enjoying it. The work environment is fun and upbeat, the benefits are great and I get to meet lots of cute four-legged animals.
I did something that I haven’t done in years. I went zip lining in Archbishop’s park in London. Besides walking up the never-ending steps (50m tall) and it being a super quick experience (30 seconds), It was great fun with amazing views.
June was a good month. I got to spend a lot of time with my family. We went out to a restaurant for Cristian’s (mum’s bf) birthday, had a family BBQ and took my little cousin to a children’s’ theatre show.
A lot of my weekends are spent either in dance rehearsals or performances around the UK. I love dancing and doing it with friends and family is even better. (picture me and brother dancing.)
I’ve also been trying new things in photography and discovering styles I like. I’ve been exploring shutter speed photography and black and white photography. Below are a few pictures but there’s quite a bit of improvement to go.
I also signed up for a 25mile walk, run, dance, race at your own pace challenge. I actually managed to do 134.41 miles which 7.91 miles were on the treadmill and the rest was walking and dancing.
