Welcoming to my first post of 2017.
Have you made a new years resolution that you want to keep to ?
well then let’s do it together !
I don’t normally do new years resolutions and when i do its normally ‘i want to get fit’. which never works out for me because I’m not motivated enough. However, this year after watching a documentary called ‘The minimalists’ I’ve decided to write down a list of achievable goals.
The minimalists are 2 guys who at the age of 30 had achieve everything that should have made them happy, great six figure jobs, luxury cars, over-sized houses and everything they wanted, however they realised that all the things they had didn’t make them happy. They talk about how humans go crazy for new products like the new iPhone, the next fashion trend and they even show footage from black Friday, people getting hurt and getting into fights because they want a product, a product they don’t need but want. Buying the latest clothes, the next iPhone or a bigger and better camera makes people happy but only for a short period of time.
I do it or should i say i use to do it (I’m trying) i would get home with my shopping and try everything on or I’d get a new phone and spend the whole day on it but then a few months down the line there’s a new trend and the next big phone and when i could afford it I’d go out and spend my hard-earned money on these things that only clutter out lives.
I’ve decided to change, to make myself become a better and happier person!

I want to continue my travels in Australia and see more of the world.

Buy experiences over material things.
📘 Learn a new Language/Improve in French 📘
I love speaking different languages & it helps when travelling or even jobs.

It’s good for the body, mind and everyday living.

I love to dance just not alone so figured if I could teach Katie i can dance more.
I’d like to think that by the end of 2017 I would have achieved these goals and to keep myself motivated what better way than to do it with other people around me.
